HOUSE SITTING

A few years ago, we were at the pool at Rosario Resort on Orcas Island where I overheard a lady telling her friend how she had spent her summer at all these amazing destinations – for free. She was doing house sits that she found on Trusted Housesitters. I thought it sounded too good to be true and didn’t look into it further for a couple of years, but in 2023 we were spending too much on hotels and Airbnbs while visiting family in San Diego. We decided to take the leap and sign up. We immediately found a great sit five minutes from the beach in La Jolla, watching two sweet kitties.
