After nearly three months in the same marina we finally got around to interviewing Pat and Ali Schulte of Bumfuzzle fame for the Travel Secrets TV series (aka my dad’s retirement project). This awesome young couple from Minnesota sailed around the world aboard a 35 foot catamaran and later drove a 1958 VW bus from Alaska to Argentina. They have “driven nearly every road in Mexico” and keep coming back for more.

Now with a baby and toddler in tow – who were both born in Mexico – they bought another sailboat to see even more of this beautiful country. Part of their interview will be in the third episode of Travel Secrets Mexico which should air next month.

This Saturday the first episode of Trave Secrets Mexico will air at 9pm Pacific time (10pm Mountain, etc). If your cable or satellite company offers Family Net you’re in luck. If not you can just watch it here.

The first episode’s focus is on the quaint town of La Cruz and you can see some bonus footage here. The second episode is about Puerto Vallarta (video shorts) and episode three will be about Nuevo Vallarta (video shorts).
